President Jokowi to Visit Kyiv by Train

President Jokowi takes long-distance extraordinary train to Kyiv city, Ukraine (06/28)

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (06/28) accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo and his limited entourage headed to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv from Przemyśl Główny Train Station in Przemyśl city, Poland by Long-Distance Extraordinary Train.

The train was prepared by the Ukrainian Government for State Leaders visiting to Ukraine.

In the press statement delivered by Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi in Munich, Germany (06/27), she said that intensive communication with Ukraine and Russia continues being carried out during the President’s international visit.

In addition, President Jokowi was expected to arrive in Kyiv on the next day. Joining the President during the visit were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (AP/MUR)
