President Jokowi to Visit Markets, Inaugurate Infrastructure Projects in Bali

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi, is scheduled to carry out a series of activities on the second day of working visit to Bali province, Thursday (01/02). President Jokowi is slated to start his activities by visiting Baturiti Market, Tabanan regency, to check economic activities and distribute social assistance to recipients.

Afterward, the President and Ibu Iriana will head to Buleleng regency to inaugurate several infrastructure projects, among others, Singaraja-Mengwitani shortcut road project, Tamblang reservoir, and area arrangement of Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove forest.

Following the inauguration, the Head of State and Ibu Iriana will visit other markets, such as Singaraja Anyar Market in Buleleng regency, and Melaya Market and Jembrana Weaving Center in Jembrana regency, to inspect trade activities and distribute social assistance.

After completing the agenda, the President, the First Lady, and the entourage will head back to Jakarta via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport using the Presidential Plane Indonesia-1 on Thursday afternoon. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (AY/MMB)
