President Jokowi Will Attend Opening Ceremony of 30th National MTQ 2024 in Samarinda

President Joko Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo departed for East Kalimantan province for a working visit on Sunday (09/08). The Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 12.30 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
Upon arrival at Aji Pangeran Tumenggung International Airport, Samarinda city, President Jokowi and the First Lady will go directly to the hotel where they will stay overnight. Both of them will take a short break and change clothes to attend the next activity.
“President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana will attend the opening of the 30th National MTQ Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (Quran Recital Competition) 2024 which will be held at the Gelora Kadrie Oening Stadium, Samarinda city, later in the evening,” Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana said in his written statement.
