President Prabowo, on Sunday (06/07), visits people’s junior high school SRMP 17 in Tabanan, Bali province.

President Prabowo Subianto encouraged students to face bullying and hardship with courage and perseverance during a visit to people’s junior high school SRMP 17 in Tabanan, Bali province, on Sunday (06/07).

The remarks came after Bagus, one of the students, shared his experience as a victim of bullying before joining the People’s School (Sekolah Rakyat). President Prabowo asked him and the students not to give up when facing challenges or ridicule from others.

“You are not alone. Even now, as a president, I have often been ridiculed. That is alright. What matters is that you remain strong and have a good heart. If people ridicule us, we should respond with good manners,” President Prabowo said.

President Prabowo stated that life challenges are not a reason to give up. Likewise, every hardship must be faced with determination, courage, and a positive attitude. “The more you are insulted, the firmer you become, the braver you become, the more polite you become. When insulted, remain polite. Do not be discouraged,” the President added.

The President further said that many people become successful despite coming from humble backgrounds, facing various limitations. According to the President, the key to success lies in never giving up and staying optimistic in life.

“Many successful people came from very poor families, many of them. Despite their conditions, they did not give up, they refused to wave the white flag, and they are cheerful. Amid hardship, seek goodness. Good things will come around, believe it,” the President said. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/MMB)
