President Prabowo Heads to Ankara Following Abu Dhabi Visit

Following his visit to Abu Dhabi, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto continued his series of visits to Ankara, Türkiye, on Wednesday (04/09). The Head of State, accompanied by a limited delegation, departed from Presidential Flight, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), at around 3:30 pm local time.

Some officials present to see off President Prabowo were Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of UAE, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, Abdullah Salem AlDhaheri, Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE, Husin Bagis, and Defense Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Brigadier General Muhammad Irawadi.

During his stay in Abu Dhabi, President Prabowo held a meeting with UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Qasr Al Shatie Palace. During the meeting, the two leaders also witnessed the announcement of eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Letters of Intent (LoIs) that had been signed and agreed upon by both countries.

Accompanying President Prabowo on the flight to Ankara were Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya. (BPMI Setpres) (AS/LW)
