President Transits in Guam and Honolulu before Arriving in California
At 07.00 AM of the local time, on Sunday 14 February 2016, Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft carrying President Joko Jokowi Widodo and Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo with his entourage arrived at Honolulu International Airport, The United States of America, before continuing the journey to Palm Springs Airport, California, USA.
At Honolulu International Airport, the President and First Lady were welcomed by Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Los Angeles, Umar Hadi.
The plane carrying the President and First Lady and his entourage had been travelling for 7 hours from Guam, before arriving in Honolulu. In Honolulu, the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft would be fuelled before continuing to Palm Springs International Airport at 9.00 AM local time. The journey took 5 hours and 30 minutes and the plane was expected to arrive on Sunday, 14 February 2016 at 17.30 local time.
Before arrived in Honolulu, after travelling for 6 hours 10 minutes from Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport Jakarta with Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft, the President and First Lady with his entourage arrived at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, on Sunday 14 February 2016 at 18.30 local time.
The President and First Lady were welcomed by the Deputy Chief of Mission of Indonesian Embassy in Washington D.C., Sidharto (Arto) R. Suryodipuro. In Guam, the President, First Lady and his entourage transitted for 2 hours before continuing journey to Palm Springs International Airport, California. Before arriving in California, Indonesian Presidential Aircraft would transit in Honolulu.
