President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, continued his series of visits in Türkiye by departing for Antalya on Friday (04/11). The Head of State and his limited delegation took off from Esenboğa International Airport, Ankara, at around 12.05 local time.

President Prabowo’s departure from Ankara took place amid cold weather and snowfall covering the airport runway. Despite the conditions, President Prabowo walked steadily toward the aircraft and waved to those seeing him off before boarding the plane.

In Antalya, President Prabowo is scheduled to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF). Not only will he attend the Forum, but he is also slated to be a speaker in the ADF Talk session, a significant segment of the international diplomacy forum.

“I’m now heading to Antalya for a kind of conference there, and after that, I’ll be going to Cairo,” said President Prabowo in a press statement to the media before departure.

Previously, during his visit to Ankara, President Prabowo engaged in several key activities, including a reciprocal state visit with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. President Erdoğan welcomed President Prabowo with a state ceremony and an official dinner at the Presidential Palace of Türkiye.

On that occasion, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the strategic cooperation between Indonesia and Türkiye.

“I believe I was received very well here. We indeed have a special relationship with Türkiye, and we aim to deepen that relationship and collaborate across various sectors. Overall, I feel this visit has been very productive,” said the President.

Accompanying President Prabowo on the flight to Antalya was Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. (BPMI Presidential Secretariat)(AS/LW)
