Sir, any response regarding Government Regulation Number 63 Year 2021 on Holiday Allowance (THR) for State Apparatus, personnel of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and the National Police that you have signed?
President Joko Widodo:
Yes, I signed the Presidential Regulation which stipulates the provision of THR and the 13th salary for state apparatus, namely civil servants, personnel of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), personnel of the National Police, state officials, retirees, allowance recipients on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
The provision is one of the Government’s programs to encourage public consumption, increase purchasing power which is expected to leverage our economic growth. Hopefully, Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr will be one of the momentum to encourage the growth of public consumption which, once again, may increase our economic growth.
The THR will be paid starting 10 working days before Eid al-Fitr and the 13th salary will be paid before the new academic year. (EW/MMB)
