President Prabowo Subianto led the Start-of-Year Briefing attended by the entire Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Hambalang village, Bogor regency, on Tuesday (01/06). In his remarks, the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the briefing, which commenced at approximately 14:00 western Indonesian time, served as a forum for policy orientation as well as comprehensive evaluation for the implementation of the government priority programs.

The briefing began with the screening of several videos highlighting the Government’s achievements. The Minister stated that one of the videos showcased progress in the construction of suspension bridges, which had previously been instructed by the President to be carried out promptly, particularly those serving as access routes for children to attend school.

Alhamdulillah, there has been progress within one month, with eleven suspension bridges have been completed and 50 are currently under construction. We will accelerate the work in 2026, with approximately 6,900 bridges identified as highly urgent,” said the Minister.

The briefing also presented achievements of several government priority programs, including the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, which has currently reached around 55 million beneficiaries, supported by approximately 19,000 established Nutritional Provision Service Units (SPPG). In 2026, the Government aims for around 35,000 SPPGs to serve up to 82.9 million beneficiaries.

“Furthermore, the Free Health Check Program has reached 70 million citizens within one year in 2025,” he added.

Minister Prasetyo further explained that on this occasion, the President also expressed his appreciation and urged all Cabinet members to reaffirm their commitment in the interests of the nation and the state. The Head State also received progress reports from the relevant ministers on the implementation of priority programs.

“Any challenges that may arise in the implementation of priority programs were conveyed directly by relevant ministers to the President during the Cabinet retreat, and the solutions were then immediately discussed,” he concluded. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (YA/AW)
