Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung expressed congratulations on the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia which fell on Tuesday (17/8).
“Happy 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. I wish the people to stay resilient and prosper. Keep moving forward and glorious forever. Merdeka! (Independence!),” said Pramono in a video uploaded to the Cabinet Secretariat’s YouTube channel, Tuesday (17/8).
He said that the 76 years of independence have provided many lessons and experiences that have brought Indonesia into a great, strong, and reputable nation in the world.
Pramono also expressed hope that the momentum of the Independence Day that took place amidst the pandemic will not dampen the spirit and purpose to celebrate the big day.
“We will not lose our enthusiasm and passion as a great nation, as a winning nation. I believe that 76 years of independence have made Indonesia to become a strong, resilient, and victorious nation,” he said. (MAY/UN) (EST/MUR)
