Inauguration procession of elected regional heads began in a lively atmosphere as they joined a ceremonial parade, accompanied by Gita Abdi Praja (GAP) marching band, on Thursday (02/20). Donning white ceremonial dress, the elected regional heads marched from the National Monument (Monas) to the Presidential Palace where the inauguration took place.

Along the way, the parade attracted the attention of invited guests and the public. The resounding drumbeats and trumpet fanfares from the marching band enhanced the magnificence of the procession. On the occasion, regional leaders waved to the people observing from a distance.

This procession was more than a ceremonial event. It was a symbol of their unwavering commitment to fulfilling the people’s mandate entrusted to them and also a symbol of hope for the new chapter of development in all regions.

Upon arrival at the Presidential Palace compound, the elected regional heads joined an inauguration ceremony led by President Prabowo Subianto. The ceremony marked the beginning of their new term in office and commitment to fulfill the responsibility of advancing their respective regions.
