President Jokowi Bestows Order of Merit on 18 Figures

In a bid to commemorate the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia this year, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (08/14) has conferred order of merit and state decoration on 18 figures at the State Palace, Jakarta.
The awarding of the order of merit and state decoration is based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 66, 67, 68, and 69/TK of 2023, which was stipulated in Jakarta on August 7, 2023.
After the awarding, the President highlighted that the awarding of the order of merit and state decoration is carried out at the discretion of the Board of Title, Order of Merit, and State Decoration in accordance with special terms and conditions.
In response to the order of merit she received, First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi expressed her gratitude to the Government. “Thank you to the Government,” said Ibu Iriana.
The following is the complete list of recipients of order or merit and state decoration:
Adipradana Star of the Republic of Indonesia:
– Iriana, the First Lady of the Republic of Indonesia
Mahaputera Adipradana Star:
– Wury Estu Handayani, the Spouse of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia
– Sukma Violetta, a member of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia
– Saldi Isra, Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court
Mahaputera Utama Star:
– Joko Sasmito, a member of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia
Mahaputera Pratama Star:
– Commissioner General (Ret.) Boy Rafli Amar, the Head of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), (May 2020 – March 2023)
Mahaputera Nararya Star:
