President Jokowi Hands over Social Assistance at S. Sulawesi’s Malindungi Market

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo monitored staple food prices and distributed social assistance to the beneficiaries at Malindungi Market in East Luwu, South Sulawesi province, Thursday (03/30).

“This is cash assistance amounting Rp1.2 million that can be used as an additional capital [for business],” President Jokowi said when handing over cash social assistance to market vendors.

On that occasion, the President also distributed staple food packages to the beneficiaries and market vendors.

He also bought products made by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the market. Yuni, the seller, expressed her excitement over the purchase.
