President Jokowi Opens 55th Jakarta Fair

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (06/12) opened the 55th Jakarta Fair at the JI-Expo Kemayoran Arena, Jakarta.
“Here, at the Jakarta Fair, people can enjoy entertainment and shop at affordable prices, for example culinary delights. There is also amusement, such as carnival parades and music concerts,” President Jokowi said.
The 55th Jakarta Fair will be held for 33 days, from June 12 to July 14, 2024.
The largest exhibition in Southeast Asia displays various products, such as automotive, tech gadgets, sports equipment, fashion, cosmetics, household furniture, electronics, culinary, handicrafts and creative industries, herbal and medicines, banking, and service products.
The 2024 Jakarta Fair adopts the theme “Jakarta Fair Supports National Economic Growth to Compete in the Global Market” to boost national economy revival.
