President Jokowi Visits Baubau’s Traditional Market

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (09/27) visited Wameo traditional market during his two-day working visit to Baubau city in Southeast Sulawesi province.

Thousands of residents had been waiting for the President’s arrival in the market.

Upon arrival, the President immediately greeted the residents and handed over working capital assistance to street vendors and market traders.

After walking around the market, he greeted residents who had been waiting for his arrival along the road. He also distributed t-shirts to residents. (BPMI/AIT) (EST/EP)
