President Jokowi Visits Bocimi Toll Road Construction Site

On the sidelines of his working visit to Sukabumi, West Java, President Joko Jokowi Widodo on Wednesday (21/6) visited the construction site of Section I between Ciawi and Cigombong, of Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road located in Bogor Regency.
According to the President, one year after he visited the site, the progress of the Toll Road construction is very good.
From the total length of 54 kilometers of this Toll Road, Section 1, which spans 15 kilometers, has already made progress. The issue of land acquisition is already settled. The construction is also under way. No problems, the President said, adding that the next sections of the Toll Road to be built are Section II, III, and IV.
I suppose the progress is good, the President said to reporters.
President Jokowi also asserted that there would not be delay in the completion of the project. No, we wont miss the target, the President said.
The President further said once Section I is completed, the Government will proceed to procuring land for Section II, land measuring, and land acquisition.
This year, were speeding up the construction. Bear in mind that this project began in 1997, President Jokowi said.
President Jokowi went on to say: Every time I visit the project, what I always ask managers on the ground whether or not there are problems and they said no. So it means, no problems and progress has been made, the President said.
President Jokowi considered that the construction of the Toll is urgent because traffic congestion from Bogor, Ciawi, and Sukabumi, is severe. Once I was stuck in the traffic congestion, the President concluded. (UN/JAY/ES) (EP/YM/Naster)
