President Prabowo, President Erdoğan Witness MoU Signing in Ankara

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, witnessed the signing and exchange of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during President Prabowo’s state visit at the Türkiye Presidential Palace, Ankara, on Thursday (04/10). The signing of MoU confirmed the two countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various strategic sectors, including culture, public communication, disaster management, and renewable energy.
The MoU includes three documents, as follows:
- The MoU on disaster management and emergency between the National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia (BNPB) and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Türkiye;
- The MoU on press media, public relations and communication between the Presidential Communication Office of Indonesia and the Presidential Communication Directorate of Türkiye; and
- The Cultural Cooperation Agreement between Indonesia and Türkiye.
The signing and exchange of MoU underlined the tied partnership between Indonesia and Türkiye and expanded concrete opportunities for long-term mutual collaboration. The state visit also marked a milestone for strong diplomatic relations as well as a symbol of proximity between the countries.
