President Prabowo Subianto Kicks Off Working Visit in Magelang

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Adisutjipto Air Force Base in the Special Region of Yogyakarta on Thursday (02/27) at approximately 2:30 p.m. Western Indonesia Time for a working visit.

Upon his arrival, the President was welcomed by Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Governor of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Diponegoro Regional Military Commander Major General Deddy Suryadi, Yogyakarta Police Chief Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan, and Adisutjipto Air Base Commander TNI Air Commodore Setiawan.

From the airport, President Prabowo headed to the Military Academy in Magelang regency. The President is scheduled to lead the military parade and the flag-lowering ceremony.

“On Friday, February 28, 2025, President Prabowo will deliver a briefing as part of the Leadership Orientation Program for Regional Heads across Indonesia,” Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, stated in a written statement.

The President and his delegation previously departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at around 1:45 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RI/TM)
