Our inflation, especially for food prices, remains in check. I checked the price of several commodities such as shallots. It was above Rp40,000 but is now priced at Rp25,000. Egg is priced at Rp24,000. Some food prices drop, and none is rising. So, the drop in inflation rate for the past four months is due to the sufficient supply and the smooth distribution. I checked it myself on the ground.

But thank God the penalty didn’t go well. This is also something to be grateful for. So we can go home from Saudi Arabia with one point. That is the actual situation on the ground. The empty box also shows the process of democracy. I think of five hundreds regional elections, the empty box are around forty. That is the condition of our democracy, be it in regencies, cities, and provinces.
