Yes, this is about flood control and the development of the fisherman village area in Tambak Lorok. The length of the embankment for flood control is 3.6 kilometers, specifically for flood control in Tambak Lorok and also the development of the fisherman village. I believe that over a minimum period of 30 years, it can effectively withstand floods.

How effective has it been so far, Sir?

Well, this is still under construction. We’ll see its effectiveness once it’s completed.

Based on today’s inspection, how is the progress, Sir?

It will be completed by August. If everything goes well and the development of the fisherman village is good, we can use this as an example, and replicate and adapt it to other areas. At the very least, we’ll have a precedent.

We’ll see once it’s finished—how the fisherman village is developed and how effective the flood control embankments are. What’s clear is that it has cost Rp386 billion.
