Honorable Prime Minister Petr Fiala,

Prime Minister Fiala’s visit was the first visit paid by the head of the government of the Czech Republic to Indonesia. Czech businesspeople also present here, reflecting the commitment to build and strengthen cooperation. We have talked about trade cooperation, investment cooperation, defense cooperation and strategic industries, as well as about ASEAN and the Indo-Pacific.

I have also conveyed several discriminatory European Union regulations and the importance of encouraging the settlement of the Indonesia – EU CEPA negotiations. We have also agreed to explore joint production cooperation between strategic industries, technology transfer, and capacity building.

I also invite the Czech Republic to invest in the Nusantara Capital (IKN), especially in the sector of environmentally friendly mass transportation. Lastly, regarding the plan to hold the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Infrastructure Forum (AIPIF) in September.

To conclude my remarks, I would like to thank Prime Minister Fiala for this productive meeting.
