Statement of President of the Republic of Indonesia during Inspection of PPKM Mikro Location at Rawasari Sub-District, Cempaka Putih District, 25 June 2021, Jakarta

Today, I made an impromptu inspection to RW 01 (community unit), Rawasari sub-district, Cempaka Putih district. This impromptu inspection aims to ensure whether PPKM Mikro is well implemented or not. Earlier, Community Unit Head has told me that PPKM Mikro is well implemented.

I hope that PPKM Mikro is not only well implemented in this location, but also at all over neighborhood units, community units, villages all over Indonesia. Therefore, I order all Governors, Regents, Mayors all over Indonesia, from Sabang to Marauke. With the support from Territorial Military Commanders, Regional Police Chiefs, Military Resort Commanders, Military District Commanders, Precinct Police Chiefs, Village Supervisory Officers, Police’s Security and Public Order Officers, it is expected to support Regional Governments, sub-districts, and community units in implementing PPKM Mikro.

All we have to do now is the implementation, monitoring, and control of PPKM Mikro on the ground. It would be useless if the policy that has been issued is not well implemented on the ground.

I am so happy to make an impromptu inspection. Community Unit (RW) Head answered my questions without a doubt. Sub-district Head also could answer my questions. All provinces are expected to implement PPKM Mikro like this, so that it can be our basis to issue new policies in the future.

That concludes my speech on this auspicious occasion. Once again, I made this impromptu inspection to ensure the implementation of PPKM Mikro.
