Statement of President of the Republic of Indonesia during Mass COVID-19 at Bogor Train Station, Bogor City, West Java Province, 17 June 2021

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Good morning,

May peace be upon us all.

We are all aware that Bogor is within an agglomeration area of Capital Jakarta so it has high public interaction and mobility.

Therefore, we want to give priority to commuter line or KRL Jabodetabek passengers, long distance train passengers, and KAI employees at the station to get vaccinated in order to protect them from COVID-19.

We want to carry out vaccination acceleration in areas with high public interaction and mobility, including train stations, bus stations, airports, and seaports.

If the vaccination has not been immediately carried out there, COVID-19 will continue to spread. We also hope with the beginning of today’s vaccination, all people will be protected from COVID-19.
