President Jokowi to Inaugurate PLBN Badau and Aruk

DI-PesawatPresident Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo, on Thursday morning, took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, to Pangsuma Airport, Putussibau, Kapuas Hulu, to start the series of his working visit to a number of places in West Kalimantan.

From Pangsuma Airport, the President and his entourage will go to Integrated Cross Border Post (PLBN) Nanga Badau to inaugurate the Post. Afterwards, the President is scheduled to distribute Smart Indonesia Card (KIP), Supplementary Feeding (PMT), Aspiring Family Program (PKH), and Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) at the Office of Badau Subdistrict. The President is also slated to carry out the same agenda in Sambas and Mempawah Regencies.

Besides PLBN Nanga Badau, President Jokowi also has agenda to inaugurate PLBN Aruk in Sambas, on Friday (17/3).

 

To Inaugurate PLTG MPP Parit Baru

In addition to these two inaugurations, in the series of this working visit, the President will also inaugurate Mobile Gas Power Plant (PLTG MPP) Parit Baru in Mempawah Regency. The groundbreaking of this 4×25 MW mobile power plant, as part of the 35,000 MW program, was carried out in June 2016 that was also attended by President Jokowi.

Accompanying the President and First Lady Ibu Iriana on the flight to Pangsuma Airport were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Education and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, and Minister of Health Nila Moeloek.
