President and First Lady Iriana Jokowi received the visit of Queen Margrethe II and Prince Consort from Denmark, at  Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (22/10) afternoon

The visit of Queen Margrethe II from Denmark, accompanied by the Prince Consort is the first state visit of the Head of State Denmark conducted after a 65-year relationship with Indonesia.

“So since we opened diplomatic relations, this is the first time their state visit to Indonesia. Today it is one of the biggest, it means today they bring a lot of entrepreneurs, a total of 99, “said Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Retno Marsudi to reporters at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (22/10) afternoon.

President Jokowi and First Lady Welcomed the Visit of Queen of Denmark


President Jokowi conversation with His Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark at the State Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (22/10).

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by First Lady Iriana received the visit of Queen Margrethe II and Prince Consort of Denmark, at the Presidential Palace on Thursday (11/10) at around at 10:30 pm.

If the state guest is usually welcomed by the President on the steps of the Presidential Palace, but the arrival of the Queen and the Prince of Denmark was welcomed by President Jokowi, and Lady Iriana Joko Widodo in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace and then immediately to the podium of honor.

Indonesia-Denmark Improves Pluralism Dialog and Signs Energy Cooperation


President Joko Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana received a visit from Queen Margrethe II and Prince Consort of Denmark, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (22/10) afternoon.

The visit of Queen Margrethe II who accompanied by Prince Consort of Denmark is the first state visit conducted by the Head of State of Denmark after 65 years of diplomatic relations.

“Since we established diplomatic relations with Denmark, today is Denmark’s first state visit to Indonesia. Today is the one of the biggest since there are as many as 99 businessmen attended the event and it is quite a huge amount,” Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi said to the reporters, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (22/10) afternoon.

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung accompanied by several Government’s high-ranking officials announced Policy Package V, at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Thursday (22/10) afternoon.

According to the plan announced earlier, the Government, on Thursday (22/10) afternoon, announced Economic Policy Package V. The announcement was carried out after President Joko Widodo, accompanied by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, led a limited meeting, at the Presidential Office, Jakarta.

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that the Policy Package V has two packages: one package is related with asset revaluation and other related with elimination of double taxataion. Moreover, the Cabinet Secretary affirmed that the aim of the Government to create jobs is serious.

President Jokowi answered the journalists questions after opening the Trade Expo Indonesia 2015, in JIExpo, Jakarta, Wednesday (21/10).

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked the exporters to continue to expand its export markets because their products have the potential to penetrate non-traditional markets.

“I have assigned the Minister of Trade, the Ambassador, for the non-traditional markets that should be pursued. We must not only pursue the old market, traditional markets should we pursue. Because the entire market in countries no matter how small, it has the potential. Be Patient, Burned Lands Are Really Wide, President Says


President Joko Widodo discussed with several officials when observed forest fires in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang Sub-district, Kampar Regency, Riau, on Friday (9/10).

President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo called on the  people to be patient in facing forest and land fires.

The President affirmed that the Government continue to make serious efforts to tackle the problem by extinguishing fire through land and air.

He added that the President and a number of ministers as well as Commander of the Indonesian National Defence Forces (TNI) and Chief of the National Police (Kapolri) visited the location several times.

President Jokowi Open Trade Expo Indonesia 2015

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) opened the Trade Expo Indonesia 2015, in JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta (21/10). The 30th Trade Expo Indonesia will be held for five (5) days until Sunday (25/10) next.

Just like the implementation of the previous years, the Trade Expo Indonesia 2015 also displayed Indonesia’s export products from various sectors of industry, mining, agriculture, and handicrafts.

“By reciting Bismillahirrahmanirrahim ‘the 30th Trade Expo Indonesia 2015’ I declare officially opened”, President Jokowi said in brief remarks to initiate the implementation of 30th Trade Expo Indonesia.
