President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (26/12) visited the construction site of Ciawi Dam in Bogor Regency, West Java Province and ensured that land acquisition issue would be immediately resolved. The construction of Ciawi Dam – which is located approximately 4.5 kilometers from Sukamahi Dam – is targeted to be completed in 2019.

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (26/12) inspected the construction of Sukamahi Dam in Cisukabirus River Source, Ciawi Sub-District, Bogor Regency, West Java. “This (Dam is built) as an effort to prevent floods in Jakarta,” the President said.

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has set target for his Government to certify all parcels of land in West Java by 2024. In addition, he also instructed them to issue 9 million land certificates for the people around the country by 2019.
