Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani delivers press statement after attending a limited cabinet meeting led by President Jokowi on the Government Working Plan, the 2025 State Budget Bill, and Financial Note at the Presidential Office in Jakarta, Monday (08/05) (PR of Cabinet Secretariat/Djay)

The Government is currently finalizing the Government’s Working Plan and the 2025 State Budget Bill. The statement was made by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Monday (08/05) after attending a limited cabinet meeting led by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on the Government Working Plan, the 2025 State Budget Bill, and Financial Note at the Presidential Office in Jakarta.

The Minister stated that the macroeconomic projection and fiscal policy draft (KEM-PPKF) has been discussed with the House of Representatives (DPR). The posture of the 2025 State Budget is expected to not deviate much from the discussion.

“It’s expected that the deviation won’t be significant compared to what has been discussed with the House. As instructed by President Jokowi, the current President, the 2025 State Budget will also accommodate priority programs proposed by the President-elect,” she added.

The Minister further said that there are many factors that have been taken into account when finalizing the 2025 State Budget Bill.

“Macro situations that we think have influence on the 2025 State Budget are economic growth, inflation, the interest rate of the 10-year Government bond, the Rupiah exchange rate, oil price, and oil and gas lifting,” she stressed.

Furthermore, the Minister said that the transition process from the current administration to the incoming one runs well since the two parties are communicating intensively. New initiative programs are being finalized and will be included in the 2025 Financial Note. (FID/ABD) (AP/MMB)
