Covid-19 Outbreak: Indonesia’s Death Toll Rises to 58; 31 Recover

The covid-19 outbreak has claimed 58 lives in Indonesia, while 105 new cases confirmed as of Wednesday (25/3), taking the total number of cases to 790, the Government’s spokesperson for covid-19 management Achmad Yurianto has announced.
Data from the Government’s official website for covid-19 also showed that 31 people have recovered from the virus.
The covid-19 cases are reported in the following regions:
- Capital Jakarta, total 463 cases, 23 recovered, and 31 dead;
- West Java province, total 73 cases, 5 recovered, and 10 dead;
- Banten province, total 67 cases, 1 recovered, and 4 dead;
- East Java province, total 51 cases, 1 recovered, and 1 dead;
- Central Java province, total 38 cases, 0 recovered, and 4 dead;
- East Kalimantan province, total 11 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- Bali province, total 9 cases, 0 recovered, and 2 dead;
- Riau Islands province, total 5 cases, 0 recovered, and 1 dead;
- Yogyakarta Special Region, total 17 cases, 1 recovered, and 2 dead;
- South East Sulawesi province, total 3 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- North Sumatera province, total 7 cases, 0 recovered, and 1 dead;
- West Kalimantan province, total 3 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- Central Kalimantan province, total 3 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- South Sulawesi province, total 13 cases, 0 recovered, and 1 dead;
- Papua province, total 3 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- Riau province, total 2 cases, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- Jambi province, total 1 case, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
- Lampung province, total 1 case, 0 recovered, and 0 dead;
