Thank you, Prime Minister Lee.

I’m honored to have this Leaders’ Retreat in Singapore.

In our meeting, we both reaffirm our commitment to continue strengthening mutually beneficial relations between our two countries.

First, Indonesia also welcomes the framework for negotiation of FIR Realignment agreed by the two countries. Indonesia respects the position of Singapore which understands Indonesia’s wish to oversee its own airspace. Our technical team have started negotiation. We encourage the negotiation to speedily achieve concrete result.

Second, we also agreed to extend the bilateral liquidity management arrangement or REPO agreement.

Third, we welcome the follow-up of last year Leaders’ Retreat including the increase of tenants in Kendal Industrial Park, the development of Nongsa Digital Park – Singapore Economic Development Board’s supports for the opening of megatron operation in Batam.

Fourth, we also agreed to encourage the speedy finalization for ratification of bilateral investment treaty signed last year.

Fifth, on infrastructure, Indonesia offers several infrastructure funding opportunities including Makassar – Pare-Pare Railway Project, Labuan Bajo Airport.

Sixth, we also agreed to strengthen cooperation on vocational education, including operationalization of Kendal Polytechnic, training for trainers and the raising fellowship initiative.

Lastly, on digital economy, we agreed to boost cooperation on e-commerce, fintech, beta services, development of techno park, and regional innovation hub.
